As you know… our country have the same historic story about young generation taking part on searching democracy in justice (try to googling about “Tragedy Semmanggi 1998″).

This work is from the heart and soul. It is a hugely IMPORTANT work, as many in the West feared what was happening in Iran. We fear for the PEOPLE of Iran, and not the autocrats and tyrants.
There was another work that I’ve read with similar social issues.
That book was named… MAUS.
I hope you both win a Pulitzer Prize for it, or more importantly that Medhi in actually found.
Hello: I’ve tried to load your comic many times without success. I clicked on the ‘Begin the story…’ link and all I get is an empty window with a ‘Loading comic…’ message. The comic never loads. I have tried with 2 operating systems – Windows 7 and Linux using Firefox, Opera, Chromium , Epiphany and Internet Explorer. None of these work. And yes, I have ‘enabled popups’ for your website. Any suggestions as to how I can get the comic to load?
I tested the page today, (Tuesday 7th February) with the Chromium, Firefox, Opera, Midori and Epiphany web browsers under Linux and they all worked perfectly – though I have not tried it with Windows 7 yet. Many thanks to you and to your web master for fixing this problem. I am really looking forward to reading this story after I watched a report about it on French television.
Oui/Balé/Yes, Arte did a report on the comic festival in Angoulême. The report could even be seen on YouTube in thier ARTEplus7 channel. However, these videos are available to watch on YouTube for just 7 days. I tried to find the link for you, but unfortunately I think they may have already removed it.

I’m really interested in your graphic novel (that I’ve never read so far) and I want to buy it as soon as possible. I have a question: what’s the language you wrote it in? Did you originally write it in Persian? Just curious!

Zahra’s Paradise was originally written in English, but it was translated in many languages (including in Italian) within a few days, page by page, as we produced and serialized it on this web site. It is now available in book stores in most countries. Enjoy the book and please tell all your friends.

Eso es solamento un capitulo del libro. Hay mucho mas (otros 20 capitulos) que leer. Mejor comprar una copia del libro, El Paraiso de Zahra, o al menos, buscar una en la biblioteca local.

Querido Mauricio, En Brasil es possible comprar el libro en Portugues, y en Espaõl solo en España, me parece, ahorita. Luego estara en toda Latino-America, pero no sé exactamente cuando. El libro Portuguez “O Paraiso de Zahra” va estar en tiendas mañana, yo pienso.

Zahra's Paradise was serialized and available on the web for 18 months in full,
but now that the book is out, we had to remove most chapters in order to encourage
readers to buy the book, in order for the publisher to recoup its investment. They're the ones
who made this story possible.

Souva commented on Get your very own hardcover copy! Have bought the book at India Comic-con in Delhi... I'm astounded by its sharp depiction of the political reality in current day Iran. It is as incisive as Marjane Satrapi's "Parsepolis" or Joe Sacco's "Palestine", but also more ruthless and more heart-rending because of its contemporaneity and it's inside-out view of the situation. I must say, it has extended the scope of the graphic novel genre to its fullest possible extent. It also shows how the power of internet (and, of course the power of art) can be used successfully by a handful of people to raise a subversive guerrilla warfare against the totalitarian powers across the world! Somebody from somewhere commented on Chapter 5: Watermelon Juice Congratulations for the comics. The world really needs to understand what happens in Iran and your work gives us the opportunity to be aware of that. But, please, where are the other pages, guys?
